About AgroTrials Consulting
AgroTrials Consulting was established to help agricultural innovators generate better field evidence through independent scientific project management.
Scientific Understanding. Practical Field Experience. Independent Project Management.
Why AgroTrials?
Many expensive field-trial failures are preventable.
Poor planning, unsuitable trial partners, unclear protocols, product-handling issues, communication gaps and insufficient monitoring can compromise otherwise promising technologies.
AgroTrials was created to provide the independent scientific oversight needed to identify these risks early and maintain the research objective throughout the programme.
Our objective is not simply to complete trials. It is to deliver evidence you can confidently act upon.
Meet the Founder
Dr Marcus E Marvin — Founder of AgroTrials Consulting

My career has combined scientific research, biological product development and practical agricultural field-trial management.
My university research background included microbiology, mycobiology, molecular and evolutionary biology, fermentation and bioprospecting for biosolutions, providing a scientific foundation for my subsequent work with biological agricultural technologies.
Over more than 20 years in agricultural research and product development, I have worked with biological and conventional plant-health technologies and managed field programmes across more than 25 European countries, including Ukraine, Serbia and Turkey, with additional experience beyond Europe.
My experience spans:
-
Early-stage R&D
-
Biological product development
-
Microbial technologies
-
Biostimulants and biofertilisers
-
Biological crop protection
-
Seed treatments
-
Conventional crop protection
-
Product optimisation
-
Registration programmes
-
Demonstration trials
-
Biological quality assurance
-
Data interpretation
AgroTrials brings these disciplines together.

Recommendations are based on what is right for the product.
Collaborative
Successful programmes depend on strong relationships between sponsors and specialist partners.
Commercially Focused
